morning update

Hi friends and family,

Thanks for following this blog and for posting your comments. It has been so wonderful to read all of the expressions of love and well wishes. We are so grateful as a family to feel of your prayers and support.

Since the big trip is today, Teague asked me to post the update.

BIG NEWS!!!!! Gary was able to sleep through the night without getting up for any pain meds!!!! YAY!!!!! We are SO grateful that he was able to get this much needed rest. Raynee reports that she slept well, also. That is so great for her. She needs to keep up her strength as well.

Alicia and Rick and their family went to their house to visit last night and they had a great time.

Everyone is looking forward to the trip today. They are going to have so much fun together and what a sweet opportunity. We are grateful to Cory for the resources that he has. What a blessing that Gary does not have to maneuver his way through security, wait in long lines and endure cramped space on a commercial flight. Not to mention being around sick people.

They get to drive on the tarmac right to the plane and Teague tells me there is a red carpet waiting for them!!! Pretty awesome!!!

Gary and his posse going to Kentucky. I'm so jealous, all I've heard is that there is a great big ball of twine in Kentucky...will they be able to see it??? Bring back pictures.

They are going to visit Grandpa Bob in POSSUM TROT...Yep, you read that right. The name of the town is Possum Trot. Seriously, I want to visit this place someday. I grew up in the midwest, and we had a lot of pigs and corn, but not funky names like that!

Tim and Barbara have a nice house there and Grandma Betty lives with them. They are very excited to see this part of the Bengtzen clan and have this mini reunion.

We wish them all good luck and a fabulous time!!!

Love and Hugs!!!

Jen
