Sunday Morning Update

Good morning!  Our family wants to sincerely thank all those who are joining us in fasting for our wonderful father.  We know of people in many different countries fasting with us and our family is humbled at the love we are feeling.

Dad did great last night.  He went to bed at 8:00 and was up twice for pain pills but then fell right back asleep.  He's eating cereal, yogurt and toast right now.  He is in quite a lot of pain this morning so Mom is going to change his patch to see if that helps.

Mom said that she gave Dad his “breakfast of champions” (a cup of a million pills)-he asked what they all were and she said "don't worry about it-just know there's a pain pill in there somewhere so you'd better take them all!"  She said they are still smiling about that.

  1. We're so pleased to hear that Gary's finally getting somewhat stabilized; and that Raynee is still keeping her sense of humor. They're both such an inspiration to all of us, now just as they have always been. There have been so many moments of inspiration, joy, and just plain fun that we've shared that we want both of them to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them continually. Once we can figure out how to share some photos (as comments) on this blog, we've got a few we'd like to post as well.

  3. Dear Raynee and Gary, it was our opportunity to fast for Gary today, just like you did for us and Steve. We love you so much and know the Lord is watching over you both. We are praying that the doctors will be inspired as to how to treat Gary, and that you will both be strengthened and blessed.
    love,
