Quick Update

Kirk gave a great update for today so I will keep it short.

Josh and I went over tonight to visit. Mom said today was a hard day because she hates to see him in so much pain.  She seemed tired (emotionally and physically) and is hoping tomorrow will be better.  Mom put me in charge of helping him eat and then doing his exercises.  He didn’t eat much even when I threatened him so I did not do so good on that but I did make him exercise.  He was supposed to walk around the house for 5 minutes but he decided to show off and did 10 minutes!

My heart aches when I see how much pain he is in and yet he never complains.  He has always been, and continues to be my hero! Sleep well Mom and Dad.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear Gary is in so much pain. I know you all must really struggle to see him hurting. I am praying that tomorrow will be a much better day for both Gary and Raynee.

We love your family and we're praying for you, that you will have the strength to get through these hard days and that they will turn into good days.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how he is doing.

  2. I just found out about this trial you and your family are going through. I am very sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with cancer. I read all the blog posts... Both my parents had the same reaction to chemo. Their third and fourth days were the most difficult. I am very sorry for the pain it has been puting you thru. You are in our prayers! If there is anything we can do (meals, anything) please let me know! Please
    Take care,

  6. Gary & Raynee - Just a note of support & cheer:
We certainly want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you constantly. You have both been such a source of friendship and support for us through the years. Gary, you have always been an inspiration and role model in every facet of your life, and "110% Raynee% you're such a source of inspiration and encouragement that's hard to live up to; even if there have been some "blonde" moments.

  10. Oh boy, I just happened onto a post on facebook. This news is not a joy to read. You have more prayers coming your way from the north on Glenmare St. We admire and love you both and have for years. May you and your family have all of the strength that you need to get through each day ahead is our prayer. Love, Karol Jean & Scott Miller
